Eric Zabat, MD is a triple board-certified physician in Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Obesity Medicine with more than 25 years of clinical experience.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of caring for athletes, active adults, families, and individuals seeking to improve both their health and quality of life.
My approach has always been centered around listening carefully, understanding the whole person, and creating practical plans that help patients move better, feel stronger, and remain active throughout every stage of life.
I believe medicine works best when physicians and patients build meaningful relationships and work together toward long-term health goals.

I believe medicine works best when physicians and patients build meaningful relationships and work together toward long-term health goals.
After more than two decades in medicine, I began recognizing something that many patients and physicians felt but often struggled to articulate.
Healthcare increasingly became rushed.
Appointments became shorter.
Relationships became harder to build.
Too often patients felt like numbers moving through a system rather than individuals with unique goals and stories.
I created RYEZ because I wanted to build something different.
I wanted to create a practice where medicine could return to the fundamentals that first inspired me:
Time
Trust
Education
Prevention
Movement
Long-term relationships
RYEZ was built around a simple belief:
Modern medicine should feel personal again.

✓ Move better
✓ Feel stronger
✓ Improve metabolic health
✓ Recover from injury
✓ Optimize performance
✓ Preserve healthspan and quality of life
I believe healthcare should do more than treat illness after it develops.
It should help people remain active, independent, and engaged in the things that matter most.
